The IDA has purchased land in Laois for the first time in a decade.
The newly-acquired 45 acre site is located next to the existing IDA Business and Technology Park on the Mountrath Road in Portlaoise.

Laois has the lowest number of IDA-supported jobs in the country, with a new business alliance set up just last week to address the issue.
