New road works in a midlands village have made it "impossible" for vehicles to get around, according to a local business owner.
Offaly County Council have been carrying out works on the footpaths in Rhode, which are due to continue tomorrow.
The move has been criticised by locals, with claims there's no longer enough room for large vehicles to traverse the village, as well as there being a lack of available car parking spaces.
