A two-part seminar on building inclusivity in local spaces is taking place today in Laois.
Laois Integration Network and Laois Local Authority Integration Team are hosting the free events at Portlaoise Parish Centre, as part of the county's Refugee Week programme.
'Building the Welcome' takes place from 1:30pm to 4:20pm this afternoon, focusing on integration into communities.
The second workshop 'Building an Inclusive Vision for Laois' starts shortly afterwards from 5pm to 6:30pm.
It features a short movie screening on the community's response to the arrival of Ukranian refugees to Stradbally in 2023.
