Increase In People Seeking Drug Addiction Support Services

Merchant's Quay says it's seen an increase of nearly 10% in its annual report.

There has been an increase in the number of people accessing drug-addiction treatment services in the midlands. 

Merchant's Quay Ireland reported a 9% increase nationally, with over 12,000 people seeking their help.

Currently, there are no in-care facilities in the midlands, with the closest being in Carlow and Dublin, but MQI says it wants to see that gap filled.
