Independent Carol Nolan Hopeful for Final Seat In Laois Offaly

Sitting TD hopes transfers will help her hold her seat.

Sitting independent TD Carol Nolan is hopeful she'll take the final seat in the Laois-Offaly constituency. 

 

She's in fifth place following the first count, a thousand votes ahead of Fine Gael's Marcella Corcoran-Kennedy. 

 

Nolan, who was elected four years ago under the Sinn Fein banner, is putting her first preference poll of 5, 436 votes down to hard work on the ground as an independent.
