Irish Cancer Society Calls For Midlands Volunteer Drivers

Over 600 journeys were provided to those under-going chemotherapy in the region last year.

The Irish Cancer Society is appealing for drivers to bring patients to and from their treatments.

The charity provides the service free of charge to people, while volunteers are covered for their travel expenses. 

Over 600 journeys were provided to those under-going chemotherapy in Laois, Offaly and Westmeath last year.
