The Irish Defence Forces are being left behind in terms of government investment, with the lowest spend per capita in the EU.
That's according to the General Secretary of RACO, Athlone's Conor King, who wrote a piece for the Irish Security Think-Tank Azure Forum in the findings of the Commission for the Defence Forces.
These findings were published in February 2022, 10 days before the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
