Irish Food Safety System Strong Despite BSE Case - IFA

President of the body, Laois's Francie Gorman says it proves Ireland's system is doing its job.

The Irish Farmers' Association says there's no risk to food safety after an isolated case of 'Atypical BSE' was confirmed in a 9-year-old cow. 

The IFA says it's 'disappointing' but shows Ireland’s testing system is working well.
