Irish Public Being 'Strung Along' About Cost For National Children's Hospital

Chair of the Public Accounts Committee Brian Stanley made the comments.

The Oireachtas Public Accounts Committee is criticising the Department of Health for failing to provide a final figure for the cost and timeline of the new National Children's Hospital. 

Chair of the Committee, Laois-Offaly TD Brian Stanley says they're being "strung along". 

The Department previously told the PAC in writing that the issues of costs and timelines are commercially sensitive, and must remain confidential for an extended period.
