The independent rep wants facilities in Portlaoise, Portarlington, and Ballybrophy improved.
A Laois TD wants to see improvements made to facilities at a Laois Railway Station.
Independent TD Brian Stanley feels that Portlaoise Railway Station needs to upgrade its services for commuters in an effort to encourage more people to use public transport.
There is currently just one toilet cubicle available to the public, with small shelters either side of the platforms, as well as a waiting room on platform one.
