Irish Rail is adding more security patrols to trains to keep passengers safe.
It comes after the company's anti social behaviour text line had more than 1,100 reports of incidents on board last year.
The Irish Times is reporting they included passengers snorting powder on the Dublin to Galway service which stops in Laois, Offaly and Westmeath.
Spokesperson, Jane Cregan says the numbers are low when compared with the 55 million passenger journeys they had last year:
