Irish Rail will soon begin a trial of vending machines on its services.

According to the Irish Examiner, nine vending machines will be placed onboard Cork to Dublin services, which includes a stop in Portlaoise.

The machines are expected to stock cold drinks, soft drinks, snacks and confectionery.

But if you want to stock-up on supplies, you can only do so if you have a card.
