Irish Rural Link Welcoming Multi-Million Boost For Community Groups

The CEO of the Moate-based group says some families are in serious need.

Irish Rural Link is welcoming a €2.5 million funding boost for community groups across the country. 

The cash injection will be targeted at initiatives like meals on wheels that are experiencing increased demand during the current health crisis. 

The money will be distributed to groups through local authorities, who will assess and prioritise projects that need it most.
