Farmers are welcoming the easing of rural housing rules.
A plan to ease restrictions on planning permission for one off rural housing is being welcomed by the farming community.
It follows a commitment from Tanaiste Simon Harris to progress the ‘biggest overhaul of rural housing rules in two decades’.
Youth organisation MACRA says the relaxation of rules will encourage young people to come home to the family farm.
