A Laois relationship counsellor is reassuring people who are feeling the stress of being cooped up at home.

Tony Moore, from Talking Point Counselling in Portlaoise, says while we have more time on our hands, it doesn't feel like a holiday because of the indefinite nature of the covid-19 and the fear and stress surrounding the crisis.

He recommends seizing the opportunity to appreciate what you do have in your life, and allocate some alone time:
