Customers in the midlands could be in line for this offer.
People who have bought a JD Sports voucher since the end of 2019 and it expired before they could use it, could be in line to get it back.
The company is to reissue around 5,000 of the vouchers which expired after 12 months, despite a rule outlining they must remain valid for five years.
There are shops in the midlands in Athlone and Mullingar.
JD Sports notes the figure represents a small percentage of total sales, with most displaying the correct expiry dates.
