Junior Minister Acknowledges Need For Faster Government Decisions

Opposition parties have criticised the Government’s handling of the energy crisis.

The Junior Finance Minister admits the Government needs to be quicker at making decisions. 

An Aontú motion being debated in the Dáil today calls for sweeping measures to help with the cost of living, including cutting profits at the ESB and scrapping the M50 toll. 

Other opposition parties also hit out at the government’s response to the energy crisis and its plans to raise tax on fuel later this year.
