According to the health service, people in the Midlands are being supported by a team based in Meath.
There are currently only five out of a promised 25 adult Early Intervention in Psychosis teams currently delivering services across the HSE.
That's according to HSE figures provided to Longford-Westmeath TD Sorca Clarke.

However funding is now in place to set up a new team for people in Longford-Westmeath.
There are three further adult Early Intervention in Psychosis teams being set up for the Mid-West, North County Dublin, and Dublin South City.
It is estimated that approximately 1,500 people in Ireland experience a first episode of psychosis each year.
