Clara Councillor Frank Moran says there's been a total lack of communication between the Department of Justice and local authorities on the issue.
He wants the Minister, Laois TD Charlie Flanagan, to come to the chamber to outline plans to ensure infrastructure is fit for purpose at any possible location.
