Justice Minister To Hear Case For More Gardaí In Midlands Town

It follows a meeting between retailers and Gardaí.

The Justice Minister will be presented with a case to allocate more Gardaí to a midlands town.

It follows a meeting between the Garda Superintendent in Tullamore, and Laois Offaly Fianna Fáil TD Barry Cowen, in relation to concerns from retailers about anti-social behaviour.

The need to re-instate Clonbullogue Garda Station was also discussed.

Deputy Cowen will be raising the issues with Justice Minister Helen McEntee, and has been telling Midlands 103's Kamron Clarke, it's a numbers game:
