Kinnegad's 75 Asylum Seekers To Be Moved

Another public meeting will be held later today to discuss the lack of amenities and services in the area.

75 asylum seekers, who have been staying in a Westmeath hotel, are to be moved. 

Residents in Kinnegad raised concerns about the lack of communication with the local authority about the large numbers of single men being housed in Harry's Hotel.

The Department of Integration has told local politicians Ukrainian families will be given the accommodation, once the men leave.
