The party has put forward its proposals for Budget 2024.
A proposal to serve the public and environment alike is one of the headline features of Labour's alternative budget.
A €9 a month public transport ticket would allow commuters use all forms of transport at all times, including rush hour.
There are questions however on whether or not Ireland would have capacity for such a move, and if it would service rural people.
