A Laois glamping business says it took four days after the localised restrictions were imposed to find out if they could remain open or not.
Kyra Fingleton from Glamping Under the Stars says they struggled with a lack of proper communication after the shock announcement from the government.
The business, located outside Ballyroan, has since seen an upsurge in interest from local people, but they initially had to err on the side of caution and close:
