The longest wait was recorded at 35 weeks.

Patients are waiting an average of 15 weeks for access to long covid clinics in hospitals across the country.

2,470 patients have now been referred for specialist care for the condition, symptoms of which include fatigue and 'brain fog'.

These effects can last for three months following infection of Covid-19.

The longest recorded wait time in the country is 35 weeks in Tallaght Hospital.
