Businesses turning their focus back to the agri sector could be factors behind current land prices - that's the view of an Laois auctioneer.
The latest findings from the Teagasc Agricultural Land Market Review and Outlook Report show Offaly has the cheapest farm land in Leinster.
It's currently priced at €12,000, while a good acre in Laois sets you back €14,623.
While good land in Westmeath has gone up by 34% to €16,171 per acre.
