A Laois butcher and his teammates have won the prize of 'best chicken product' at the World Butchers Event.
Mark Williams of Williams Butchers in Abbeyleix is one of six team members representing Team Ireland this year in Paris, in what's often dubbed as the Olympic Games for butchers.
Jim and Bernadette Murphy from 'Murphy’s Craft Butchers' in Tullow, County Carlow were also on the team, with Jim taking the role of Team Captain
The winning dish was a Chicken Italiano, which Jim says is something he came up with himself:
