The Cathaoirleach of Laois County Council is calling out the high levels of speeding taking place in the county.
Fine Gael's Barry Walsh wants a redesigned road layout and safety plan for all approach roads to Ballyroan, and the town's Main Street.
The council’s road design team says once a suitable budget is identified, they can develop a preliminary layout for an improved public realm and road-safety scheme.
