The works are set to be complete by 2026.
A Laois graveyard is getting a long awaited upgrade.
The local authority is engaging with landowners in advance of works being carried out on Camross cemetery.
Issues around access to the graveyard for hearses and cars have been an on-going issue.
The renovations will see a wider entrance and new set of gates to the cemetery.
