The sleeping bags were left behind after Electric Picnic.
A Laois charity is asking for the public's help in washing sleeping bags.
Portlaoise Action To Homelessness managed to collect around 300 abandoned sleeping bags from the Electric Picnic site in Stradbally on Monday.
Representatives from PATH will be in Laois Shopping Centre this Thursday evening and are seeking people to volunteer to wash three or four bags.
They will be stationed at the same place the following Thursday to take back the bags.
