An all male choir in Laois is singing off the same hymn sheet after winning a national community award.
Timahoe Male Choir took home the Community Wellbeing Initiative Focused Award at the IPB Pride of Place awards in Limerick last Friday.
They took home the prize following a visit by judges last August in which they heard testimonies from members, residents and local groups who have worked with the group through fundraising events.
It adds to their list of achievements including representing Laois in the New York Saint Patrick's Day parade and a main stage appearance at Electric Picnic.
