A community in Laois without a primary school for almost 50 years have unveiled their plans for a new facility.
The Clonad Development Association report highlights a population increase of 13,000 in the greater Portlaoise area since 1996 and the lack of a multi-denominational school.
Initial contact has been made with Laois County Council and potential sites have been identified.
