The group wants high jackets and helmets to be a legal requirement for e scooter users and they're looking for clarification on legal protections for Gardaí enforcing the laws.
Acting chair of the partnership is Independent councillor for Portlaoise, Caroline Dwane-Stanley.
She says the concerns around the ban are straightforward:
