Laois County Council is launching a new programme to help people improve their homes and businesses.
The Mountmellick Streetscape Enhancement Scheme will support people in repainting and improving buildings within a designated area.
This initiative is being delivered through funding awarded to Mountmellick under the Town and Village Renewal Scheme.
It will also include other works such as re-surfacing the Mountmellick Development Association car park and works on the roundabout entering Mountmellick.
