Laois County Council Commissions New Commuting Survey

The cost of the study will be €30,000 and will aim to analyze why people commute out of Laois.

Laois County Council are set to commission a €30,000 study on the reasons people commute outside the county.

The tender is set to be awarded by the local authority in October, with the survey set to run for a period of three months.

It will gather data such as journey length, the sector people work in, where they travel to and their attitude to living and working in Laois if jobs were available.
