New Chief Executive of Laois County Council Michael Rainey believes it can be achieved.
Laois County Council is promising to deliver over 1,000 social units against its target of 534.
The council previously met a 5 year target within 2 years, given under the housing for all plan when it came to new social rental homes, in 2023.
Recently appointed Chief Executive of Laois County Council Michael Rainey believes infrastructure is the key to this success as well as zoning land and key stakeholders.
