Laois First Responders Launch Defibrillator Fundraising Campaign

The 10 person team based in Portlaoise recently installed a sixth unit in the town.

A group of community first responders in Laois is launching a campaign to raise money for more public access defibrillators.

The 10 person group based in Portlaoise installed a sixth one in the town recently, but is aiming to have more within a kilometer of each other across the area.

It's also hoping to assist more housing estates in installing one of their own. and for the local authority to include it as a consideration when approving new residential developments.
