Mr. Mitchell impressed judges in a broad set of demanding skills, including precise knife work, deep product understanding, ethical sourcing, sustainability, and exemplary customer service.
He received his nomination via Bord Iascaigh Mhara’s Seafood Academy, an initiative dedicated to advancing business development, improving commercial sustainability, and securing financial stability in Ireland’s seafood sector.
