Emer Dunne will be the delegate for Laois County Council.
A renowned Laois folk singer is set to take to the stage in Times Square this St Patrick's Day.
Mountmellick's Emer Dunne is taking part in the New York parade as part of the delegation of Laois County Council, and will preform on the festival's Main Stage.
It follows her first US tour last November, and has been the support act for musicians like Phil Coulter, The Chieftains and The Fureys.
