Investigating officers are seeking information on three young people.
Gardaí are investigating an assault and robbery in Laois.
It occurred at the entrance to the Grange estate on the Borris Road in Portlaoise yesterday evening.
Investigating officers are particularly interested in any sightings of three people in their early-to-mid teens around the Borris area between 8.20 and 8.50pm.
It's believed they may have been in the possession of sticks or a similar type of offensive weapon.
Anyone with information in relation to the incident, particularly those with camera or dashcam footage, are being asked to contact the Detective Branch at Portlaoise Garda Station on 057 867 4134.
