A man has been arrested following a number of offences in Laois.
It follows an investigation by Gardaí in Mountmellick into the theft of power tools, an assault causing harm, and multiple incidents of criminal damage.
After searching a premises in the area, Gardaí arrested and charged a man with theft, assault, assault causing harm, and four counts of criminal damage.
He’s been remanded in custody as the case progresses.
Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have information in relation to the case, to contact Mountmellick Garda Station.
