A new report from property valuers GEOWox shows the median house price in the county is €345,000, up from €272,000 last year.
The 26.8% increase is bigger than anywhere else in the country with the exception of Monaghan and Roscommon.
The cost of a home in Offaly is up 5.6% to €285,000, while it's remained unchanged in Westmeath at €310,000.
