Laois Hotelier Confident They Can Rely On Local Business This Summer

A Laois hotelier is hoping to open back up to locals in June.

It's hoped outdoor dining could resume in the coming months, with the government set to review the timeline for lifting restrictions later this month.

Dara Cruise, general manager of the Midlands Park Hotel in Portaloise, doesn't think they'll be welcoming people from outside Laois before July at the earliest.

But he believes people will be eager to explore amenities within their own county before then:
