Charter Medical Group and Vhi have today announced a new strategic partnership that will guarantee timely access to endoscopy services for Vhi members. The procedures will take place at Charter Medical Private Hospital in Mullingar.
The Charter Medical Endoscopy Reimbursement and Guaranteed Access Pilot, establishes a dedicated, high performing endoscopy pathway for Vhi members. Charter Medical Group will deliver an end-to-end service, from referral and triage through to procedure and follow up, supported by clearly defined clinical and operational standards.
The partnership marks a shift toward outcomes based, partnership driven healthcare, aligning reimbursement to measurable performance across access, clinical outcomes and patient experience.
Progress will be tracked through monthly reporting covering operational metrics such as access and turnaround times, clinical outcomes, and patient experience measures, including patient reported experience and outcome measures.
