CEO John Mulholland says they're taking over management of the Kyletalisha landfill site due to the increased cost of the contract with current operators AES.
He expects charges at the recycling and landfill facility to begin to align with other local authority facilities around the country after the August 10th handover.
Councillors had raised concerns some customers were travelling to the Offaly County Council site at Derryclure, where prices were considerably lower.
