Laois Leisure in Portlaoise says its pausing its offering of complimentary access to Leaving and Junior Cert students after a group verbally abused staff and interrupted an Aquafit class.
The centre says its "extremely disappointed" to have had to call gardaí after it provided the free service for many years.
Its General Manager Sean Quirke says the situation will be reviewed next week.
