Supermacs are one of the sponsors of this years awards.
The official launch of the Laois/Offaly Garda Youth Awards took place today.
Members of An Garda Siochana and previous winners of the award were in attendance to launch the event at the Killeshin Hotel in Portlaoise.
Supermacs and So Hotels are continuing to sponsor the initiative.
Nominations for those between 13 and 21 years of age are open until February 20th, with the awards night taking place on March 25th.
