A person had to "jump from the second floor" of apartment complex to escape a serious fire in Laois this morning.
Emergency services are still at the scene of the blaze which broke out at 6am this morning in an apartment complex in Kilnacourt Woods in Portarlington.
Two men have been brought to the Midlands Regional Hospital in Portlaoise.
The Portarlington GAA centre is now open to families who have been displaced by the fire, with food, water, tea and coffee being provided for those affected.
