the funds raised will to the development of a new astro-turf pitch as well as Kolbe Special School.
This weekend a Laois school will undertake a record-breaking challenge in aid of a new astro-turf facility and Kolbe Special School.
The Ballyfin National School "Dash to 44 challenge" will see 50 runners participate, completing one lap of each of the 44 GAA pitches across Laois in just one day.
The runners will meet up at the school at 5.45am tomorrow morning, before travelling to Rosenallis where the Challenge will kick off at 6am.
It is expected to be a long day, with the challenge predicted to take a total of 15 hours to complete.
Tomorrow's challenge is getting widespread support from around the region.
