Sinn Fein Senator for Laois Maria McCormack is aiming to set up a specialist clinic for the condition.
A Laois Senator is campaigning for a specialist endometriosis clinic to be set up in the Midlands.
Maria McCormack, who is also a first responder, is driving an awareness campaign around women's health.
One in 10 Irish women live with the condition, but there is no specialist facility for diagnosis and treatment.
An awareness event will be taking place in the Killeshin Hotel on Wednesday April 23rd.
