Brian Stanley is echoing concerns by the IFA that financial supports should be higher.
Financial supports in this year's Budget for tillage farmers are simply not good enough.
That's according to Independent TD for Laois Brian Stanley who feels the current subsidy needs to be raised to 100 euro per acre.
He's also echoing the IFA's concerns about the allocation of just €50 million for the sector, and thinks more stronger supports are needed.
